Emily Nixon

Emily Nixon, Director and Lawyer, graduated with a law degree from Murdoch University and began her legal career at Bennett & Co, which later became Lavan Legal, after being admitted to practice in July 2005. In 2009, she transitioned to the Public Trustee of Western Australia, where she excelled in handling complex Trust and Estate litigation, including Family Provision Claims, in the Supreme Court of Western Australia. Her expertise extends to drafting Wills and other critical legal documents. Emily gained substantial experience in Guardianship and Administration matters, frequently appearing at the State Administrative Tribunal. In 2016, she co-founded Jarvis Nixon Legal with Marcia Jarvis in Karrinyup, Western Australia. By 2019, she established Bespoke Wills and Estates, further cementing her role in the legal community. Emily’s dedication to her field is recognised by her consistent listing in the Doyles Guide from 2018 to 2024, highlighting her proficiency in Wills and estates in Western Australia. She is an active member of both the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Law Society of Western Australia.
