Teresa Liu serves as the Managing Partner for Australia and New Zealand at Fragomen, based in Sydney. Her role encompasses overseeing the firm's operations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Auckland. As a member of Fragomen's Executive Committee, Teresa plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm's strategic direction and global presence. She also co-chairs the Global Culture and Inclusion Committee, enhancing the firm's commitment to diversity and belonging. With a focus on the Private Client Practice, Teresa aids individuals in their international settlement journeys. Her expertise is especially valuable as immigration policies in Australia, New Zealand, and beyond undergo significant changes. As an Australian solicitor and New Zealand Licensed Immigration Advisor, she adeptly navigates these dynamic landscapes by developing proactive workforce planning and management strategies. Her extensive career includes over two decades with Fragomen, working from Partner to Managing Partner. Prior to this, she was a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, gaining experience across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University, where she also completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, underscoring her dedication to the legal domain.
