
Laura Mallet is the Owner and Principal Solicitor at Keppel Coast Law, leading the firm with dedication and extensive legal experience spanning over 13 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the Queensland University of Technology in 2011 and further enhanced her practice credentials with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. Laura began her legal career at Paul Loane Solicitor, where she gained valuable exposure across a broad range of legal areas, establishing a solid foundation early in her career. In 2015, she acquired the Yeppoon practice, which she rebranded as Keppel Coast Law. Under Laura’s leadership, the firm has grown into a trusted provider of legal services, known for its commitment to exceptional client care and practical advice. Her practice encompasses civil and commercial litigation, family law including domestic violence matters, criminal law, business and commercial law, succession law, and residential property. Laura is committed to delivering personalised legal solutions, combining her comprehensive legal knowledge with a compassionate approach tailored to meet her clients’ individual needs. Having grown up in Baralaba and educated at Rockhampton Girls Grammar School, Laura has a strong connection to Central Queensland and a deep understanding of the distinctive legal challenges faced by regional and rural communities. She remains actively involved in community initiatives, including her ongoing work with the Yeppoon Lions. Outside of her legal career, Laura enjoys travelling, having explored numerous destinations worldwide.
