Michael Knopf brings over 23 years of legal expertise to his role as a Partner at KM Law. As an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, his extensive knowledge spans several areas, including elder law and criminal law. Michael is frequently seen representing clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, providing them with adept legal advice and advocacy. Since joining KM Law in 2014, Michael has been instrumental in guiding clients through complex family law matters, including pre-nuptial agreements and de facto and same-sex matters. His legal journey was further enriched by his early role as a researcher at the Supreme Court Court of Appeal. Academically, Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws from La Trobe University, complementing his Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Melbourne, and a Diploma of Education from Melbourne State College.
