David Buda

David Buda, a consultant at RBHM Commercial Lawyers, boasts an extensive legal career rooted in a robust educational foundation from the University of Sydney Law School, where he earned his Bachelor of Laws degree. His journey began with the Commonwealth Crown Solicitor's Office in Sydney, focusing on litigation, company winding up, and bankruptcy. Admitted as a Solicitor and Attorney of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1977 and the High Court of Australia in 1978, David has solidified his presence in North Sydney’s legal scene over the past 29 years. Initially practising as an employed solicitor, he later established his own firm from 1980 to 1992, developing expertise in conveyancing, family law, litigation, business law, wills, estates, and probate. In 1992, David merged his practice with Cowley Hearne Lawyers, where he served as a senior partner for 14 years. His role at RBHM Commercial Lawyers began in 2006, where he continued to refine his focus on purchasing and selling residential, commercial, and rural properties, real estate mortgages, securities, leasing, and estate planning. David’s approach prioritises strong client relationships and a deep understanding of their personal and business needs, which has earned him the trust of high-profile clients and corporations. David's contributions extend beyond client representation; he has assisted the World Bank with the real estate aspects of its Doing Business Project. Outside the office, David enjoys reading, golf, photography, fishing, football, and cooking, while valuing quality time with his family. He is married and has two children.
