About Sam
Sam Granek, a Consultant Solicitor at Rotman & Morris, brings a wealth of legal expertise to the team. He graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Laws in 1974 and has been practising as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria since 1975. His career began with several small law firms before he established his own practice in 1979. Initially operating from home, the success of his practice soon allowed him to open an office in Bentleigh in 1980. In 1987, Sam merged his practice with Jonathan Sheink, forming the partnership Sterling & Sheink, which he led until 1990. After Jonathan Sheink emigrated to Israel, Sam continued to run the practice as a sole proprietor for 25 years. In 2015, he sold the firm to Malcolm Morris and transitioned to his current role as a consultant, where he focuses on property and conveyancing, wills and probate, commercial leases, and business sales and purchases. In addition to his legal career, Sam is passionate about Israeli dancing, a hobby he shares with his wife, Caryn. They are proud parents to two children and grandparents to five. Sam’s deep commitment to both his professional and personal interests highlights his dedication and multifaceted approach to life and law.
