

Shafic Jack Eid serves as the Principal of Wade Burns Conveyancing. He was admitted to both the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia following the completion of his Economics and Law degrees, as well as a Masters of Law. Jack's career has seen him gain invaluable experience working with prominent law firms and government bodies, such as Clayton Utz, Blackstone Chambers, and the Attorney General’s Department. His extensive commercial background and business acumen have been utilised across various domains, including Commercial and Corporate Law, Property Law, Building and Construction Law, and Trust Partnerships and Associations. Jack has also shared his expertise as an Associate Lecturer at Macquarie University, focusing on Business Law, Corporations Law, and Labour Law. Currently, Jack is the Group Chief Commercial Officer at CWB Limited, where he is instrumental in firm expansion and business development, advising Fortune 500 companies and key clients on protection strategies across the MENA region and beyond. Additionally, he serves as an Intellectual Property Consultant at Gulf Capital, aiding in the development of a network of intellectual property firms in emerging markets. Previously, Jack was a Shareholder and Head of Business Development at Saba & Co Intellectual Property in Beirut, a role he held for two decades. His leadership experience also includes his time at ART / Arab Radio & Television, where he headed business development. Jack holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the American University of Beirut, illustrating a diverse and robust educational background that complements his legal expertise.
